About the speaker
Dr. Donald Buzinkai
Assistant Professor of Accountancy
Dr. Donald Buzinkai is a teaching assistant professor of accountancy at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB). Dr. Buzinkai has been an accounting instructor since 2016. Prior to 2016, he worked for 25 years in corporations in positions such as operating segment chief financial officer, corporate treasurer, and corporate controller & chief accounting officer. He is a CPA and his research interests include reviews of accounting standards, the reputation-repair actions that firms pursue in the aftermath of unfavorable company events, and auditing case studies.
