About the speakers

Garth Herbert, Associate Director of Recruiting - MBA and MS Programs

Garth Herbert is an Associate Director of Recruiting for the Carlson School of Management MBA and MS programs. He has spent his career in higher education assisting students at all points in their educational journey, recently moving into Carlson School graduate admissions a year and a half ago. Garth not only works on the admissions and recruitment team, but he is also a recent graduate of the Carlson School Part-time MBA program, granting him a unique perspective as both a staff member and alumnus. He moved to Minnesota five years ago with his wife, and enjoys hiking, attending hockey games, and going out to the movies with his friends.

Rajesh Routray, Current MSBA Student
Rajesh is current graduate student enrolled in the Masters in Business Analytics program at the Carlson School of Management. His educational background is rooted in Industrial Engineering, and he brings valuable professional experience in e-commerce, marketing, and customer funnel analytics to the table.
 
Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, he has a deep passion for outdoor sports. Climbing, boxing, and dancing are his preferred outlets for staying active and embracing the thrill of physical challenges.
 
Abheesha Gautam, Current MSBA Student
Abheesha is currently pursuing an MS in Business Analytics at the Carlson School of Management. Her academic journey encompasses an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Marketing and Communications, making her a curious thinker at the crossroads of analytical precision and creative innovation. Throughout her corporate career, she has ventured into diverse marketing roles, initially in the digital products realm and more recently as the Brand Manager for an eyewear brand in the retail sector.
 
Her passion lies in the seamless fusion of art and science in business. Whether it's crafting award-winning advertising campaigns that shape consumer choices or diving into data to unearth valuable consumer insights, she relishes the dynamic challenges and opportunities that span across various businesses.
